Japan Association for Language Teaching JALT 2006 International Conference presentation on "Podcasting for the College EFL Curriculum" at the Kitakyushu International Conference Centre, Kokura, Japan (3 November 2006). Download the .ppt presentation if you like and watch the slides while listening to the podcast of the presentation as it was recorded live.

Hi Steve--

Thanks so much for making this presentation available.

I wonder if the .ppt file (or a .pps version) couldn't be uploaded to this blog and displayed here, or through, e.g. Slideshare.com, so that the presentation and the audio were viewable on the one screen?

I'm thinking of trying this out myself, but just haven't found the time. I have seen examples where a Bubbleshare slide show of the ppt images was used with the audio in a podOmatic link below. Really gives the feeling of "being there."

Again, thanks for all your good research and work!

Elizabeth,

Thank you kindly and it's an honor hearing from you. Do you know my World Association for Online Education colleague Jenna Seehafer in your (Cal State Sacramento) English dep't?

Slideshare worked for my Macquarie presentation at http://waoe.blogspot.com

but hasn't worked with repeated tries since then, so I did a workaround at:

http://waoe.org/president/presentations

I'm familiar with mhtml, which works only with Microsoft-briendly browsers, but not with .pps on the Web, and I don't see a link to the Bubbleshare/Podomatic site you mentioned.

Best regards,

Steve McCarty
